For me, it started at a time while I had a lot of time to read and I began to read the book I still call the most important book in ufology ... "Flying Saucers From Outer Space" by Donald E. Keyhoe. That was Keyhoe's 2nd book, so I was lucky to acquire his first book (The Flying Saucers Are Real) along with his other 3 books on the Internet soon after. I read them in sequence and I was hooked. Branching out to other great authors - investigators - ufologists ... my collection began to grow. Eventually, I began to sell parts of my growing collection, added hundreds of books from other subjects and WolfDreams Books was established. While my book inventory and book business expands each month, I also do local computer things (cheap) and web design (also cheap) to supplement my income.
I've been in
various mail order and publishing ventures for more
than a couple of decades, selling everything from CDs, records and books
to toys, magazines and bric-a-brac. Over the years I've mastered the art of
mail order. Prompt shipping: I get an paid order today it ships today,
tomorrow (or next mailing day) at the latest. As a consumer myself, I can
never understand these sellers that ship several days after being paid for an
order - too busy is not an excuse (lazy or lackadaisical might better
fit). I hate when I buy a book and the mailman is able to bend it to stuff it
inside my mailbox (even though the sender may have written "do not bend" on the
package). Packaging is an art form. My intention is for you to get the
book in the exact same condition I ship it it. First, the book goes into a
plastic bag and is then wrapped in a cardboard shield, then placed inside a
bubble mailer or a box. Bend-proof packages that could withstand the
abuses of aggressive, maybe even disgruntled postal workers. I see many
sellers that don't have a clue about packaging, throwing a loose, unwrapped book
in an oversize padded mailer so it could shuffle around inside the mailer on the
way to it's destination (pathetic!). I hope to eventually write a guide to
packing and shipping, post it on a website and begin to retrain them (one by
one). Last note on pack & ship, most packages I ship utilize delivery
confirmation so we can always find your package in the event of some type
of postal malfunction.
My prices are low as it's very
competitive among book sellers of the Internet - those on Amazon, Alibris,
Abebooks, Biblio, other fixed price book sites and book dealers with their own
websites.
Maybe the most frustrating thing about searching other Internet websites for UFO
& paranormal books, are all those sites that show these great titles ... only to
link to Amazon (they make that click money, so click away). If I wanted to
buy a book from Amazon I'd go directly there. I used to promise "no cheesy links
to Amazon" on the opening page of this website, but I took that off so not to
anger the gods of search engines that are heavily fed by "the big A." I'm
just as competitive on other types of books ... check out my prices on

check all catalogs from my page at Biblio.
Back to UFO's: I have many
theories and opinions on the UFO mystery (the greatest story of all time). I'll
spare you from them on this page. Most researchers would admit there is a
cover-up of widespread proportions in progress. Most believe this started in the
40's for various reasons, at first, because of panic (the War Of The Worlds
broadcast) and religion. And over the years that grew to include protecting the
multi-trillion dollar fossil fuel economy and to hide the alien technologies
that jeopardize it. I believe (as Don Keyhoe did ... see The Flying Saucer
Conspiracy) that the government was close to revealing all it knew back in 1952
- 1953, but the CIA put an end to that. While you might get lost in a sea of
"free" information available from the many sources of the very dedicated that I
present on my UFO LINKS page (let me
know if I forgot any "serious" UFO sites - I also exchange links with other UFO
and paranormal websites as you will see back on the main page). Still,
books are easier to carry around with you than a computer and are still a great
source of information (highly collectable, too). I hope you want to order
some. I ask that you write to reserve titles as I don't always get to update the
ever-changing inventory pages as much as I'd like to. Write, reserve
and buy. Any questions, please write. Hear from you all soon ....
